

Virginia (Ginnie) Neal was the loving mother of four sons and their wives: Stephen (Judy); Scott (Phyllis); Barry (Dina) and Daniel (Audra).
Ginnie was blessed with 11 Grandchildren: Wayne, Stephanie, Kristen; Christopher, Matthew; Ruben, Kara, Aaron; Elana, Danny, Nathan. and, 7 Great-Grandchildren: Jacob, Alexandria, Katelyn; Paige, Dillon; Ryan, and Luke. She was greatly loved by all.
Virginia was born in Worcester, MA of the late Stephen and Norma (Hathorne) Simpson. She lived most of her life in Massachusetts and except for a few years away, lived the last 50 years on the Cape.
Ginnie was a Navy WAVE, entering the service in 1944, training as a Communications Specialist in Pensacola, FL. She served in this capacity immediately after WW II, in Tokyo, Japan during the Occupation with General Douglas MacArthur, until her Honorable Discharge in 1946.
After her discharge, she attended Bryant Stratton College, near Boston. Leaving Boston for Cape Cod, and, because of her excellent communication skills, she also held switchboard positions at Cape Cod Hospital, Falmouth Hospital and the Telephone Company in Hyannis. Ginnie was active in many clubs and organizations, her later years enjoying "The Villagers" of Hyannis. “ Tasha” will be missed by her many friends, there.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Doane, Beal & Ames Funeral Home, 160 West Main St., Hyannis, MA . Her graveside service with Military Honors will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at 10:00 am at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Ave., Bourne, MA .
