
Born in Fall River, Bill was the loving son of the late Ernest and Elizabeth (Shaughnessy) Hayden. He also predeceased by his in-laws Robert and Janette Bearse.
In addition to his wife Julie, he leaves behind his brother-in-law Robert P. Bearse, Jr. of Hyannis, his sister-in-law Penny Barnes and her husband Benjamin of Camp Hill, PA and his nephews Robert P. Bearse, III “Bob”, Joseph Bearse, Mark Leonard, Samuel Barnes and his wife Lesly, Benjamin J. Barnes and Andrew Barnes and his wife Janelle. He is also survived by many great-nieces and great-nephews.
After high school graduation, Bill attended New England Linotype School in Boston with plans to start his own printing business. After completing his certification, he joined the US Army National Guard and was soon after called to active duty for training.
Bill met his wife Julie, in Fall River. After they married, they started out in his parents’ Somerset home before purchasing their own home. Bill opened his own business, Heritage Printing, in Swansea, MA which he operated for 11 years. When Bill and Julie moved to Cape Cod settling in their Centerville home, he worked at Radio Shack, Auto Zone and Home Depot.
In his leisure, Bill enjoyed woodworking and working on his cars.
