I did not know Roy very well but he was always friendly and was fun to be around. He was one of the most active members so most of the time he was at the fly field when I was there. I will miss his happy face. My heart goes out to his family during this difficult time. Larry Deming

I only recently got to know Roy, out at the flying field. What a fun and interesting man! so genuinely interested in others. His son, Scott, took him flying weekly and was a True Son to his dad, always showing great respect and love. Good Examples of what a father and a son should be to each other. We miss you Roy.

I will share your sorrow at Roy's passing. He was a long time excellent friend and he will certainly be missed for many years. He was a good example and teacher with his model airplane activities and many of the group will miss him deeply. Dick Barker

We will miss our good friend and flying buddy. Roy was such a fixture of the Club, we're not sure the flying field can be the same without him.
So glad we were able to know, and associate ourselves, with such a great man, and that we had the opportunity to learn from his vast knowledge, expertise, and the example he gave us.
