Agnes V. Miranda

Agnes V. Miranda, age 93, of Kansas City passed away Oct 26, 2016. Visitation from 6-8pm Sunday, Oct. 30th at Noland Road Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial 10am Monday, Oct. 31st at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church with burial to follow at Mt Olivet Cemetery.

Agnes was born Aug. 24, 1923 in Kansas City, MO to William T. & Agnes (Ferguson) O’Malley. She married Alfred J. Miranda and from this union they had seven children; Anita, John, Joe, Paula, Michael, Richard & Robert. Agnes retired from the phone company in 1985 after 30 years of service. During retirement, Agnes lived her life caring for her family and others. She also participated in the AT&T Telephone Pioneers who were dedicated to helping others.

Agnes was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred and their sons, Richard & Robert. She is survived by 3 sons, 2 daughters, 26 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren & 1 great-great grandchild.
