Albert Lee Wiggins, age 72, of Independence, passed August 19, 2017. Visitation 1pm, Saturday, August 26, 2017. Memorial Service at 2pm. All services at Newcomers Noland Road Chapel. Albert was born September 1, 1944 in Jackson County, to Albert E and Lillian L. (Lamb) Wiggins. The family moved to Randolph after the 1951 Kansas City flood where he attended Randolph Schools. After his education in Randolph, he moved to South Dakota to work on a large cattle ranch. He later moved to Southern California and worked as a self-employed maintenance man. Albert moved back to Independence in 1994 where he continued to be maintenance man for the Bowen Apartments. He was a member of the F.O.E. 3717. He retired in 2005. Preceded in death by; his parents, Brothers; Johnny, Russell, Clarence, Charles, Roger, Richard. He is survived by; Sister Beverly Greathouse, Sons; Wylie and Wayne. 2 grandchildren; Melissa, Austin. Companion of 22 years, Darlene Drake.
