Alberto Velez-Padilla, 62, of Independence, Missouri passed away. November 6, 2025. He was with his loving family and friends. Alberto was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on the 19th of September, 1963 to Amalia and Gilberto Velez.
Alberto worked as a janitor and electrician and enjoyed participating in family gatherings, dancing, music, dressing up, and CB radio. He was also a proud father of four children; Carlos Velez, Alberto Velez, Emily Carrasquillo, and Angel Velez.

A visitation will be held at Newcomer's Noland Road Chapel, located at 509 S Noland Rd, Independence, MO, 64050, on November 12, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
The committal service will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery, 701 S Noland Rd, Independence, MO, 64050, on November 13, 2025, from 10:30 am to 11:00 am.
