Beverly was born in Lawrence, KS to Charles and Anna Grace Bowman on February 8th, 1948. She attended school in Tonganoxie, KS, and Baker University. She worked as an Administrative Assistant for Johnson County Housing Services for 10 years. Beverly was a member of Rockwood Baptist Church serving as the music librarian and helping with the choir, women’s ministries, and the childrens’ bell choir.
Beverly is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lynn Wahlers, and his brother Gregg Wahlers.
Beverly is survived by daughter Jennifer Noll, son Matthew Arenson and his wife Melissa, daughter Jamie Carey and her husband Tony, stepson Daniel Swamp, brother Tom Bowman and family, granddaughter Danielle Foster, and grandson Alex Noll.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to The March of Dimes.
The family of Beverly wishes to extend thanks to all the doctors, nurses, and other staff that cared for her and made her comfortable. The family would also like to extend sincere thanks to all of Beverly’s friends and loved ones for their love and support.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 27th, 2-6pm, Funeral Service on Tuesday, July 28th at 11am, burial to follow at Hubble Hill Cemetery in Tonganoxie. Services will be at Newcomer's Noland Road Chapel, 509 S. Noland Rd., Independence, MO 64050.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, masks are required, social distancing will be practiced.
