Christina Marie Omenski

Tina was born in Richmond, MO on December 17th, 1963. She graduated from Truman High school in 1983 and resided in Independence, MO for the majority of her life.

Tina was a woman that made friends wherever she went, she knew of no strangers. If she wasn't the life of the party, she was orchestrating the event and making sure everyone felt welcomed. She was a kind hearted woman who truly enjoyed helping others. She put her life on hold multiple times to take care of her loved ones in their time of need. She was selfless in her acts and made sure everyone was given the care, love, and respect that they deserved. She was a daughter, mother, grandmother, wife, and friend that gave endless encouragement and love. She was a blessing to many and her actions and memories will be held dear in our hearts.

Tina in preceded in death by her mother, Darlene McGonigal, mother-in law Jackie Owens, and her sister Terri Healy. She is survived by her husband, Greg Omenski, a sister Sherri (Kurt) Omenski, her two daughters Kishna (Chris) Rodgers and Lizzy Martin, and her grandchildren, Logan and Noni Rodgers.

A Celebration of Life has been scheduled for September 14th, 20252 from 1:00pm - 4:00pm, located at the Junior Service League at 3122 S Crysler Ave, Independence, MO 64055.
