Danielle Lashea Edwards

Danielle Lashea Edwards, age 32, entered eternal life on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at her home in Independence, MO in the presence of her loving family. Danielle was the daughter of Anna Guardado and Maurice McDaniels.

Danielle will be remembered fondly for her love of nature and animals, especially turtles and horses. She was a loving person who never knew a stranger. An artist at heart, she had a unique talent for seeing the potential beauty in anything and could create extraordinary works from even the most basic materials. This talent was evident even in the tasty cakes and treats that she loved to bake with her family. Her door and arms were always open for a friend in need. She loved children, not only her own, but those of others and she demonstrated that love by operating a small daycare at her home. She was an ambitious person with an adventurous soul and always took the time to enjoy even the littlest moments in life.

Danielle met Kenneth Edwards and fell in love with the man who would later become her husband. Danielle adored her husband with whom she celebrated ten amazing years of marriage, just days prior to her passing.

Danielle is preceded in death by her beloved father, Maurice McDaniels. She is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth Edwards and their three children, Mia, Aryana & Kenneth III; her mother, Anna Guardado; and her brothers, Marcus McDaniels and Peter Guardado.
