Ed was born January 11, 1963, in Independence, Missouri to Philip and Burnetta (York) Wilkinson. Ed liked cars, being a mechanic, listening to music, chili cook-offs, smoking meats and watching Judge Judy.
Ed was preceded in death by his father, sister Tammy George, grandparents Gilbert and Wilda York, Edwin and Charolette Anderson and his Uncle Don Wilkinson.
Survivors include his wife Mary Harp, his mother Burnetta Roberts, children Michael Wilkinson (Shelley McMurray), T.J. Parvin, his grandchildren Michael and Skylar Parvin. His brother and sisters Dan Wilkinson, Jurnetta Andrews, Victoria Hobson and Bambi Claibourn.
A visitation for Ed will be held Friday, July 18, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Newcomer's Noland Road Chapel, 509 S Noland Rd, Independence, Missouri 64050. With a funeral service starting at 11:00 am. A committal service will follow at Newcomer's Floral Hills Cemetery, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, Missouri 64133. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ed's memory may be made to St Jude's Foundation.
