

Jean was born in Graff, MO, on May 30, 1932 to Effie Mae and Carl Brandon. She married the love of her life Don W. Hill Jr on August 17th, 1963. A lot of quality time was spent at their cabin at the Lake of the Ozarks. She really loved traveling and they went on several cruises. She spent her days doing what she enjoyed most. She was a devoted Jehovah's Witness, and spent many hours going out in service. She also spent many hours handcrafting beautiful creations for family and friends. She was very talented at crocheting, cross stitch as well as quilting and was known for her love of sewing and knitting many clothes and blankets for her family throughout her life. She enjoyed treating her loved ones with loaves of fresh baked "Grandma Bread". She will be greatly missed.
Jean is survived by her loving husband, Don, three sons, Thomas Hill (Independence), Larry (Martha) Hill (Oak Grove), and Timothy (Janet) Hill (Independence). Her sisters Esther Paden (Dearborn), Shirley Pine (Platte City), and Carol Snider (Dearborn) as well as 9 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
Jean is preceded in death by her Mother and Father, her siblings June Estes, Barbara Jo Fry, Joyce Swindler, Jack Brandon, Bill Brandon, Jim Brandon and her Daughter in Law, Vicky Hill.
Jean decided on cremation. Memorial is being held at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah, 500 Lee's Summit Road, Independence, MO 64050. Also available on Zoom with ID number: 861 0878 5071 Passcode: 019190

Jean's life reflected her strong faith and deep love for her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, whose kindness and love will always be remembered.
