Hershell was preceded in death by his wife Jules, his father Hershell Bowman Sr.and his stepfather, Garey Sweet. Hershell was survived by his mother, Arlene Sweet , His daughter Lindsay McMullen, son in law Aaron, granddaughters Zoey and Amberley.
