Jaye graduated high school from Fort Zumwalt, then attended college at Maryville University and Lindenwood University. She graduated with her masters. Jaye loved fast pitch softball, and was an accomplished pitcher, she ranked in the top 50 in the NCAA. Jaye notably helped establish St Louis sports hall of fame. She drove fast cars and enjoyed arts and crafts.
Jaye is survived by her parents Toni and Lonnie O’Dell, her grandmother Idel McCulloug. Step-siblings Melanie, Scott, Josh, and a niece Alana. Aunts and Uncles Floyd Tracy Porter, Cindy Yeargain, Bret and April O’Dell, and her cousins Nicole, TJ, Stephanie, Keegan, and Kara.
She was loved by many and will be missed by all.
A Celebration of Life is planned for Wednesday, June 24th 2026, located at Christ Alone Lutheran Church, located at 2600 Bates Road O'Fallon, MO 63368, starting at 4:00pm.
