John "Greg" Ricketson

Cemetery, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64133 . Greg was born in Kansas City, MO

on July 21, 1958 to Warren and Bernie Ricketson. He graduated from Truman High School in

1976 and recently retired from Independence Power and Light in September 2016. Greg spent

many years hunting, fishing, and spending time with his Labrador Retrievers: Josh and Bear. He

enjoyed gardening, walking, and spending time with his family and friends. He will always be

remembered for his kind heart,generosity, and willingness to listen and help anyone who

needed it. He is survived by his parents; Warren (Dub) and Bernie Ricketson of Independence,

MO, brother; Jeff (Darcie) Ricketson of Peculiar, MO, aunts; Barb (Bob) Ring of Independence,

MO; Willa Dean Petersen of Fresno, CA; Nancy (Ron) Weiher of Melbourne, Australia, Melieda

McGowan of Shawnee, KS, and many cousins, family members, and friends.
