Joshua Dean Davis

Joshua Dean Davis, 37, of Independence, MO passed away July 31, 2022. Joshua was born on November 26, 1984 in Kansas City, MO to Harold Dean Davis (deceased) and Deanna Leigh Patton (Hayward). He loved his family, animals, and attending music festivals. Through Joshua's career as a long haul truck driver, he and his girlfriend, Shawna Todd and their beloved traveling companion, Roxy, they were able to travel to 43 states together. More than anything, Joshua had the biggest heart, his generosity knew no boundaries. He is survived by his mother; Deanna Patton, stepdad; Perry Patton, brothers; Kevin McMichael and Steven Hayward, sisters; Audrey Davis and Anna Davis, two stepsisters; Kelly and Leslie Patton, nephews; Austin and Dylan Hughart and nieces; Lillian Earl and Stevie Patton. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations in Joshua's memory be made to Wayside Waifs, 3901 Martha Truman Rd., Kansas City, MO 64137 (https://waysidewaifs.org), or your favorite animal group. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 6th from 2-3pm followed by a service at 3pm. All services will be held at Newcomers Noland Road Chapel, 509 S. Noland Rd., Independence, MO 64050. Once services have concluded, all are invited to BlendWell Community Cafe, 10725 US-24, Independence, MO 64054, from 4-8 pm.
