I worked with Kathy for the first 5 years of her career at KU, we had a blast working together, there was never a dull moment. We laughed, shared food recipe's, and listen to her bingo story's! Kathy was so talented with sewing and interior decorating. Kathy had such a caring beautiful spirit. I will truly miss Kathy. Rest well my friend.

I was blessed to have Kathy in my life for over 18 years. Her title may have been “mother-in-law” for many of those years but she was so much more to me, more than I ever expected. She was my best friend, my mom, my guiding light, and my confidante. She had a heart of gold and and her laughter was truly contagious. I am so thankful that she was such a huge part of my life for as long as God allowed. And I thank her for leaving one of the best parts of her in my care, her son Jamie, who I have also loved for 18 years. Kathy, I love you...you will be greatly missed!

I worked with Kathy over 9 years at the University of Kansas Hospital. We start off in Admitting and Ending in Virtual Registration together. Even after her short departure we still stayed in contact with one another which lead her back to the University after my phone call to her. I remember one day she was not feeling well so I drove her half way home until she was feeling better and she told me she really to take over the wheel very independent lady as we all know and loved about her. I'm really going to miss my friend and may God bless her and rest in peace until we meet again.

Love Always,

When Kathy and I worked together in room management at KU she would make us all fried tortilla chips and would share the funniest stories. Her laugh and her sense of humor will truly be missed. She was truly a sweet person! Rest well Kathy.

I worked with Mrs. Kathy for 12 years. She was such a go getter. I remember one time she was knitting at her desk and I asked her if she could knit me a scarf for the winter. And she did. After I started wearing it almost everyone in the building wanted to place an order with her for one. She took the orders and filled each and every one of them. I ordered 3 of them and right to the day come winter I will be wearing them and when I do I will be thinking of her. Kathy will ALWAY be a part of our team and will truly be missed! WE LOVE YOU KATHY ALWAYS AND FOREVER. Stacey
