My deepest sympathies to Russell, Jimmy, Melinda, and Mike Neidel and their families, as well as Sharon Conn (niece) and Larry Neidel (nephew)
Lillian was a dear friend of my family and my host mom while I attended Fort Osage High School from 1977-79. She introduced me to the Susquehanna Baptist Church community and to the beauties of Independence, MO.
I shall forever be grateful to her for her warm hospitality, her Midwestern cuisine, and for an unforgettable Sweet Sixteen surprise birthday party, among other delights.
Rest in Peace.

Lillian was always so kind to me, and treated me like her own granddaughter. Christmas and birthday cards to Matt and me were always addressed to her grandson and granddaughter—along with her annual Hallmark ornaments. We were always made to feel special and loved by a generous and thoughtful woman. She will be greatly missed. We are so fortunate to have introduced her to Layla at Christmas and are very grateful for that opportunity. Sending our condolences to the entire Neidel family and lifting you up in love and strength at this difficult time.
