Linda Lucille Riedl
March 17, 1950 – February 17, 2020
Linda Lucille Riedl born March 17th, 1950 to Frank Lester and Helen Lucille Riedl. Linda was born into a family of 5 other girls, and 2 boys. Barbara Dye, Frank Riedl, Bonnie French, John Dennis Riedl, Cindy Woodall, Beth Williams and Becky Riedl were all her siblings. Of her siblings, she is survived by John Dennis, Cindy, and Beth. She had one child, Nichole Sherry, who survives her, along with Nichole’s Husband Daniel, and her 3 grandchildren Madison, Parker and Danny.
Linda passed on February 17th, 2020 at 2 pm, resting peacefully and surrounded by her family in her home.
Linda was a driven and dedicated mother and worked her whole life to make a good life for her and her daughter. During the majority of her career she worked as a project manager at a restaurant supply company handling several big name national accounts. During that time, she purchased and renovated several homes with her bare hands, passing down lessons her daughter would later use herself. She was a very successful woman in her career and in her personal life having taken care of many others in so many ways.
Linda lived with her daughter and her family and helped to care for and raise her grandchildren. Family unity was so important to Linda, she arranged and hosted numerous party’s and family reunions throughout the years, a legacy she wished dearly would continue. A truly self-less woman, Linda loved unconditionally and gave without expectation. She was the rock for her family and will be missed dearly.
It was Linda’s dream to sing, though the people who heard her sing knew that dream would not be reached in this lifetime! She always said that when she dies, she wants to come back to this earth with a beautiful singing voice. She loved music and the artwork her daughter created. She kept on display many of the pieces of Nichole’s art to the very day she passed, with many more stored safely away.
Linda was so proud to be a mother, and was very vocal that she loved her son-in-law Daniel as her true son. Linda and Daniel had a special relationship, and many times would go together to the casino and spend entire days playing slots and having fun. She truly adored her grandchildren and was an integral part of their upbringing having been there daily to care for them for years. And at the end of her life, her grandchildren were sure to be there to care for Grandma Linda every day.

Aunt Linda was always such a joy to be around. I loved the times I could join her and my mother at the casino abd for lunch! She made you smile just from the joy she radiated. I will miss her so very much!
