Margot was born September 12, 1936 in Karlsruhe, Germany. She came to the United States in 1957. She raised two boys Gert and Mickey, and one daughter Rebecca. She worked at Montgomery Wards for 42 years until she retired, but also worked at Hi-Boy part-time until the age of 79.
Margot love to crochet and spend time with her family. She would often have family over for dinner making her famous German dish, spetzla. She would not only work hard to make this dish for her family, but also coworkers and members of her church where she attended at Messiah Lutheran. She also enjoyed listening to her German music.
Margot is survived by her 3 children and their spouses including her "favorite son in law", Her best friend, Katie, 9 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren & 3 great great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild on the way. She is known best by the name of Oma, which means grandma in German.
