A graduate of Oak Park High School, Mac possessed an unmatched curiosity and passion for life. A natural self-starter and entrepreneur, he had a growing passion for real estate and was working on his first property flip. He also excelled in lawn care services, faithfully helping maintain and care for multiple properties.
Mac was a young man of integrity, generosity, and service. He cared deeply for his friends and family especially his parents, siblings, nieces, and nephew. He was always there to lend a helping hand. Whether on or off the basketball court or in the weight gym, he was a natural life coach who encouraged others, believed in their highest potential, and helped them recognize what was possible within themselves.
Kind, adventurous, and full of enthusiasm for life, Mac enjoyed working out, traveling, learning, and experiencing new things. His favorite words of encouragement were simple but powerful: “You can do it.” He often shared this reminder with his friends and especially with his nephew (who cherished him as a brother) inspiring them to believe in themselves and keep moving forward.
He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Amina and Philip Tutu; his siblings, [Maria Tutu, Marajan Tutu, Mafdi Tutu, Mahasin McIntyre, Makram Tutu, and Madlin Tutu]; his nieces and nephew, [Amina ‘Kay’ Kelly, Laelah Jael McIntyre, Anaiah Yasmine McIntyre and Michael ‘Buddy’ Kelly]; and a host of extended family members and dear friends.
Mac’s generous heart, adventurous spirit, and unwavering belief in others will be deeply missed. His encouragement, kindness, and joyful approach to life will continue to live in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him.
“Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.”
