 My heart is now broken in two and one side went with you. All the memories I will carry and pass along to my own family
 ( Kaden & Matt). You were such a great grandpa , and you gave all of us all the love you had , including Grandma Betty.  I remember how we use to team up and pick on grandma and she would get so mad at us .  But we didnt care , it was us against her all the time.  You were definitely a trickster,  I can't even count the times you cheated at playing games ( I can still hear and see you laughing ), and how you would come into my room and take my stuff animals when I was younger and slap them across the face. I constantly had to hide my money , so you wouldn't steal it. However when I asked for yours,  you would say you had none and move your hands across each other. If I could speak to anyone on the phone right now it would be you , so we could ask each other " Where you been ,  Where you going , Where you at ?"  I can't remember what even started us doing that , but I will never forget it. All these memories and more made you the grandpa you didn't have to be.  I wish more than anything you could have met Kaden more than once . He is so smart , handsome,  and even a trickster like you( you two would have made a great team) . I will reassure him  that you will always be looking down on us . I have showed him pictures , and will pass down your wooden box , and his watch you wore to the hospital. I love you more than words can explain,  thank you for waiting for dad and I to say goodbye before leaving us . We will forever be grateful that we were able to get  that last hug and hear your voice. Until we meet again , try to be good in heaven NorNor . 

My sweet grandpa nornor. I would give anything to have you punch me on the side of the arm one more time and say " wizzz". To cook breakfast with you, biscuits and gravy.. our favorite. You gave the best hugs. And you drove so so so slow.... haha. You loved going to the thrift stores with me. Sitting in your sun room watching tv. You and grandma came down for ever single holiday.. every grandparents day for school. You buried my hamster in the back yard when she died and I was so sad and you made a little bed for her. You always told me I was your special one, we could talk for hours on the phone. You would ask  me if I was getting in trouble still and not making my parents mad.. and then tell me to tell my mom you love her every time we got off the phone. You were the best grandpa.. you didn't have to be. You were there from the day we were born and I am for ever grateful. My child hood would have not been the same with out you. You made me laugh. You had such a good sense of humor.. you loved your black coffee. You hated McDonald's but you always went for grandma. And that is the man you are, a good man. I make sure parker knows you and he even calls you nornor and that makes me so happy. He has your tools and he is already a little mister  fix it. Just like you and my dad. I miss you and I wanted to share so many things of my life with you still.. I know you are watching but you are and were one of the most important people in my life. You always told how proud you were of me and my job and what I do. I wanted to make you proud and you see me happy and know parker more. I will always make sure he knows who is great grandpa was and the man he was. How much you meant to me. You are forever my grandma nornor. 


I met Norm when I started working as his helper at Kennys Tile over  
35 years ago,  He was tough as nails,  and taught me everything I know. We had a great time working together  .  He nicknamed me Corky,   We would spend our weekends at the lake with his brother Jim, and other friends who were from Kennys and have the best of times.  There are so many times in the past year that me and Randy Rosell would go back and talk about all the things he would do that just cracked us up we about peed our pants, And his favorite saying --- I'm going down boys , --that got us going.    My kids grew up knowing him and loved him as much as my wife and I did, along with loving Betty also. They both have been so good to my family and myself.   He was a generous kind soul who would do anything for you at the drop of a hat,   I will miss him greatly and think about him often.   Norm you will be missed by many, and dont be too stubborn up in heaven , your in Gods hands now .   Love you buddy .  

I remember back when I was a lot younger, every year my family  would go visit grandma betty and Grandpa Norman up in Missouri for a week or so. Every time we went up there, Norman was working on a new project around the house. One time it was building a huge deck outside their house and while he was building it, I was running around jumping across all the boards he had already laid out. His shop was full of tools and he always had a heater on in there. He would always come check on us before we went to bed and would try to scare us. I remember Betty always nagging at him and he would just shrug it off! Lesson learned Grandpa, I do to it my wife all the time! I wish I would’ve made it up there more often, but being a blue collar man yourself, you understand that there is no time off because the wolf is always at the door. You and I are both union workers. Not just grandpa and grandson, but union brothers. Rest easy Norman, I love you. 

Norman was the best Grandpa to my kids Melissa,  Liz & Kenny.     He and Betty would come to Texas several times a year and would take the kids back to Missouri for a visit.   They loved going with Betty and Norman the BEST GRANDPARENTS ever!!

Norman taught me how to make the best chili and sausage gravy.   We had so much fun cooking together!!   

 When Norman and Betty came to Texas we had so much fun.   I will miss him to much ❤️❤️❤️       Cheryl Jones 

Norman I'm so sad to have lost you.  It so very hard to put in words what you mean to my family but I will try.  I'm so thankful you always took care of Mom. She had a good life with you. And I can forget all the things you did for my grandparents Gene and Elizabeth. You helped them out a lot.  But I think my greatest memory of you will be the role of grandpa Nor Nor as my kids called you. You were a great grandpa Norman, you really were.  You showed so much attention and love towards them.  They all loved you so much Norman. You will be so missed by them. Thank you for all you did for everyone. No one can replace you Norman/ NorNor. Until we meet again on the other side I will miss you.      Love Mitch

Norman has been there to help me anytime I needed help.  He was such a gentle man. His kindness was so unique and so genuine. He always thought of others and held out a hand to make life easier for them. Heaven truly took an Angel home.  Love you buddy. Say hello to John and you two be good.
