Robert Vincent Andrade

Bob was born September 30, 1951 to Robert and Elizabeth (Barreto) Andrade. He grew up in the Kansas City area, residing most of his life in Independence. He was married to Cheryl (Bair) Andrade for 33 years before she passed from this life in 2022. Together they shared one son, Anthony Andrade. As a young adult, Bob served in the United States Air Force. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time in nature. Bob was known as an animal lover, and often had multiple pets. He enjoyed sports, especially watching the Royals and Chiefs with Cheryl and watching Anthony play basketball. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. While he spent the last few decades raising Anthony alongside Cheryl, he also enjoyed time with his other children; Tommy, Tammy, Carmen, Bobby & Misty as well as his siblings, grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert & Elizabeth, brother Richard, daughter Tammy, and loving wife Cheryl Andrade. He is survived by his son Anthony Andrade of the home; sons Tommy Andrade, Bobby Andrade & daughters Carmen Andrade & Misty (David) Johnson. Siblings Rosanne Danner, Linda (Carl) Meade, & Lisa (Terry) Walters. Grandchildren Nika, Andrew, Tapanga, Sierra, Gabriel, Serenity, Avery & Kiera. Great-Grandchildren Peter, Madelyn, Samuel, Michael, Chance & Abel. Many nieces & nephews as well as other beloved family & friends.

Services will be held at Newcomers Noland Road Chapel at 509 S Noland Rd, Independence, MO 64050.

Visitation: Tuesday June 16, 12pm-1pm

Funeral: Tuesday June 16, 1pm with graveside service to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
