I noticed obit on Bobby too late to come to funeral. Would have liked to have seen you boys.
My mom Nelta Morgan used to babysit some of you. We lived across the street from your family at 54th and Highland. We hung out in our basement doing who knows what. And we played in your backyard quite a bit. There was a teetertotter that Bobby and I used a lot. I remember good times. Your mom was a sweetie.
I from time to time think of the old neighborhood and the families we knew. It was a good growing up place. Made a lot of friends but unfortunately didn't keep up with them and their lives.
Sorry to hear about Bobby. Sounds like he made a good life for himself. Did he have any kids?
My mom and dad passed away in 1998 and 1997 respectively. My brothers Stephen and Philip are doing well and live in Kansas City North. I live outside of Lathrop, MO about 25 miles north of them on 10 acres and keep busy maintaining it.
Again, sorry that I missed an opportunity to see you three boys.

Robert was a dear friend of mine in the 70's. We were roomates for a while at Arrowhead Apartments in Lenexa, until I married my wife Ruth in 1976. God bless his soul he will be missed.

Robert was a dear friend for more than 45 years. He was an intelligent creative thinker who had the imagination to envision what the world would embrace via media. He was a kind and generous man, who will be greatly missed. Our last words to each other were "God Bless."
