Beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Roger Ted Webb, 87, Gladstone, MO, went home to be with the Lord, on Sunday, October 24, 2021.
Roger was born May 19, 1934, in Independence, Missouri, to Ted and Zeanith Webb. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Carolyn Webb, his daughter, Julie Kinder (Robert), and four grandsons – Jonathan Kinder of Brookfield, MO, Jeffrey Kinder (Katie), Joseph Kinder, and James Kinder – all of Kansas City, MO.
Upon graduation from William Chrisman High School in 1952, Roger played minor league baseball in New Mexico, and then served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Roger worked for the United States Postal Service. He was hired initially as a postman, carried mail for 25 years, and ended his career as a clerk, before retiring in 1990.
Roger married Carolyn on June 26, 1959, at the Independence First United Methodist Church, where Roger was a member until his passing.
Roger loved baseball, bowling, westerns, and his grandsons, and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 30, at 11:00 am, at Newcomer’s Noland Road Chapel, 509 S Noland Road, Independence, Missouri. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 12:30 pm. Internment will be at Salem Cemetery in Independence.
