T.J. was born to Arthur W. Lamb and Rita M. Lamb in Omaha, Nebraska, on February 21, 1951, and was preceded in death by both parents and his late wife, Shirley Lamb.
T.J. was a man of strength, kindness, dedication, and wisdom, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him.
T.J.'s life journey included attending St. Mary's High School, graduating from Fort Osage High School, and earning a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Missouri. He also worked as a server at Stephenson's Apple Orchard Restaurant for fifteen years, until he founded T.J. Lamb Real Estate in 1993. He was fondly known for his passion for fine food, music, art, good scotch, fine cigars, spending time with his grandchildren, and traveling.
T.J. is survived by seven siblings to include Mike Lamb (Maryann Lamb), Jim Lamb (Cheryl Lamb), Richard Lamb (Sandy Lamb), Jeannie Lamb, Anne Noe, Susie Vaughn (Billy Vaughn), and Meghan List (Scott List) and also his four children Christopher Lamb (Casey Lamb), Jason Lamb, Parish Slover, and Rhonda Bushby (Jason Bushby); and 12 grandchildren, Nadia Lamb, Elayna Lamb, Landon Lamb, Colton Lamb, Jaxon Lamb, Lincoln Lamb, Christopher Slover, Jesse Andrews, Heather Pugsley, Zachary Slover, Shawn Porter, and Megan Hayes.
T.J.'s life will be celebrated on Friday, September 26, 2025, at Newcomer's Noland Road Chapel, 509 S Noland Road, Independence, MO 64050.
Visitation will be held at 11:00 a.m., followed by funeral services at 12:00 p.m.
T.J.'s warm smile, wise counsel, sense of humor, and unwavering spirit touched many of the lives around him. He will forever be cherished by his family and friends.
