Vera G. Griggs, 92 of Kansas City, passed away May 3, 2019. Vera was born January 17, 1927 to Irvin B. Huddleston and Mary (Moore) Huddleston, in Kansas City, Missouri.

She was a Life Member of Ladies VFW Auxiliary 1894. She was a member of the Episcopal Church.

Vera was preceded in death by her parents and husband Carl L. Griggs.

She is survived by her sons; Carl (Debra) Griggs, Gary (Annette) Griggs, Greg (Gloria) Griggs, Randy (Susan) Griggs, Steven Griggs and Johnny Griggs, a sister; Lois (Bob) Holtzclaw, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
