GOHM - On Wednesday, March 23, 2011, Amanda Lynn Gohm fell asleep in death at the age of 18. The funeral service will be held in the Indian Head High School Gymnasium, Indian Head, SK., on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with Norbert Kotrla officiating. Interment in Indian Head Cemetery. Amanda was predeceased by two great grandpas Fred Belan and Fred Gohm and is survived by her father Robert Cote; her mother Karrie Gohm; sister Raenna and brother Mitchell; her maternal grandparents John and Sharon Gohm; paternal grandmother Marion McKay; aunts and uncles: Melissa (Joe) Malbeuf and their children Brady and Matthew; Monica Gohm and John Lygouriatis and their family Ethan and Emily; Christine Gohm and Kevin Freeze and their family Larissa and Nikkita; maternal great grandmas Florence Belan and Pamelia Gohm; great aunts and uncles Tom (Gloria) McKay; David (Pat) Gohm and their children Alfred (Bev) and their children; Marion Gohm and her daughter; Shirley (John) White and their children; Francis (Russ) Flynn; Denise (Dave) Walters and their son; Arlene (Danny) Robinson and their children. Amanda will also be sadly missed by Justin Brown and his family, Rob Shakespeare and his family, the brothers and sisters of the Christian Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, all those from the Indian Head High School and community. Amanda was raised with the Bible based belief that one day the earth will be a paradise where even those who have died will be resurrected to enjoy endless life,(Revelation 21:3,4). May this hope bring comfort to all. Special thanks to the RCMP, EMS and any bystanders that gave their assistance, especially the Fed Ex driver that was first on the scene and stayed with Amanda till EMS arrived. I also want to thank all the friends and family for all their support along with the staff and management of Frontier Peterbilt Sales Ltd., Fort Qu'Appelle A&W and Indian Head High School. I want to express my sympathy to the Jays Transport driver who was involved - no person should have had to experience such a tragedy regardless of cause.
