

Annie Myers age 94 years peacefully passed away with family at her side on July 24, 2016 in the Lakeside Nursing Home, Wolseley, Saskatchewan. She was born on April 23, 1922 to Adam and Magdalena Sali.
Annie grew up on a farm in Vibank, Saskatchewan and continued the life of farming after marrying her husband Max Myers in 1943 where they took over Max’s family farm in Qu’Appelle, Saskatchewan.
Annie was a very hardworking lady. While raising 6 children, doing the cooking and cleaning, she was also Dad’s right-hand woman. She worked the land, hauled bales, milked and fed the cows, and was known by many for the best homemade bread in the province.
Annie is survived by her children, MaryAnn & Robert Lenz (Arlene/Joseph, Shelley, Rodney/Michelle, Rob/Megan), Leonard & Gwen Myers (Lori/Kevin, Curtis/Randeen), Johnny Myers and Christine Gohm (Michelle/Chad, Barry, Kristine/Marty, Tracy/Tyrel, Kim, Larissa, Nikkita) , Vince and Maureen Myers (Rick, Marnie/Chris), Maxine and Reg Petford, (Bradley/Tara, Darren/Mindy, Shan, Martin, Megan/Darren), Randy and Sandi Myers (Jordan and Lexi), and many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Annie was predeceased by her husband Max on April 9th, 1982, her parents, Adam & Magdalena, her siblings, Chris, Andrew, Veronica, Joe, Isabell, Robert and daughter Gloria.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Qu’Appelle, Saskatchewan, on Thursday, July 28th at 10:00 am by Rev. George Thattuparampil. A private family interment service in Qu’Appelle Cemetery will take place immediately following the funeral mass. A reception for family and friends will be held in the Qu’Appelle Lions Hall.
