Oh Grandpa, what a great dancer you were.  I will never forget dancing with you at weddings to the 'foxtrot'. I moved around that floor with you like I was a princess.  As a young child I remember watching you and grandma on the dance floor - I hope you have now grabbed grandma for many dances. 

And all that time in the summers when I would come out to the farm for holidays -- how wonderful that time was. Whether it was helping out in the house or outside feeding calves or gathering eggs ... or being able to ride the tri-cart for hours... what great memories. 

In the last years, you still amazed me on how you could find ways to fix something ...that goop sure came in handy. And the many many crafts you did ...that was so amazing as well. 

I will miss you immensely but knowing that you are free from pain and with grandma again sure does make it a 'little' easier. 

Love you forever Grandpa...

Oh how do I put into words what Grandpa George meant to us. He was one of the hardest workers I’ve ever known,  I’ll never forget those large hard working hands that could fix anything, play music, make hangers and anything else he could think of.  My favourite memories are from time spent on the sleigh or wagon, pulled by grandpas team of horses and grandpa holding onto the reins- I can hear those sleigh bells ringing now. He loved his family more than you’ll know, from his time on the farm and endless visits and a shared meal and stories to last a lifetime.  Grandpa truly lived a full life- how lucky were we to have such an amazing man in our lives, our days won’t be the same without him. He truly was one remarkable man and I miss him so much already but I know he’s reunited with grandma up in Heaven and that brings me peace. I love you Grandpa- until we meet again!
