Gerald Andrew Beattie

On Saturday, August 18, 2012, Gerald Andrew Beattie, the foundation of our Beattie rock, faded into the sunrise and made his way into heaven. Predeceased by his son, Peter Andrew Beattie, and his parents, Henry and Hazel Beattie. Gerald is survived by his wife Melnie Beattie; daughters, Jeannie (John) DesRochers; Tracey (Kevin) McCaig- Beattie; Kelly (Norman) Beattie Kuntz; honorary daughter, Cindy (Duane) Ross; his grandchildren, Amanda (Dale) Partridge, Lindsay DesRochers; Krystelle Beattie, Caleigh McCaig; Brittany (Ben) Barr, Bree Anna Reynard, Mathew Kuntz; his great grandbabies, Briggs, Leilindel and Caycee. The funeral service will be held in the Lions Community Hall, Qu’Appelle, SK., on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at 10:00 a.m., with Pastor James Otitoju and Mr. Don Willison officiating. Coffee and fellowship will follow. A private family interment of cremated remains will take place later that day in the Qu’Appelle Cemetery. If friends so desire contributions to the Allan Blair Cancer Center, 4101 Dewdney Ave., Regina, SK., S4T 7T1 may be tokens of remembrance.
