John was born on March 5, 1951, in Indian Head. He married Linda (Kaczmar) in 1975 and settled in Kendal and then the family farm.
John’s life was rooted in his love for family, friends, and farming. He found joy in the outdoors, hunting, snowmobiling, and quadding. And he had a life long passion for cars, vintage and muscle, often talking about back in the day when they used to race on the streets and highways. Everyone loved listening to his great stories about his life and growing up with his siblings at the family farm. He has always had a love for his oldies music and recently he took great pleasure in collecting toy tractors.
Above all, John’s greatest love was his family. He cherished sharing life with them, farming along side them, watching his children and grandchildren grow, and creating moments that will always be remembered.
In his failing health, he treasured the daily phone calls with his boys, visits from friends, neighbours, and family, especially when the grandkids would visit on Tuesdays and Thursdays from school.
There will be a funeral prayer service in the Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Montmartre, SK on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at 1:30 p.m.
