Karrie Gohm

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Karrie Lyn Gohm who left us on February 22, 2015 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Karrie was predeceased by her eldest daughter: Amanda Gohm; parents: John and Sharon Gohm; Uncle: Alfred Gohm; maternal grandfather: Fred Belan and paternal grandparents: Fred and Pamelia Gohm. Karrie has left behind her two children: Raenna and Mitchell Gohm; three sisters and their children: Monica (John) Lygouriatis (Ethan Webster and Emily Lygouriatis); Melissa Gohm (Brady and Mathew Malbeuf, and TJ Stoddart) and Christine Gohm (Larissa and Nikkita Friess) all of Indian Head, SK; maternal grandmother: Florence Belan of Cupar, SK; several maternal and paternal aunts, uncles, and cousins; surrogate family: Robert (Barbara) Saltiel of Fort Qu'Appelle, SK and Norbert (Shirley) Kotrla also of Fort Qu'Appelle, SK along with many dear friends. Karrie was born in Regina, SK on May 23, 1974 and was an active member of the Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall in Fort Qu'appelle, SK. Karrie had a very strong faith, and it was with this faith and the support from many members of her congregation and her family that helped carry her through her three year battle with breast cancer. As per Karrie's wishes there will be no funeral service. A private Interment at the Indian Head Cemetery will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Indian Head Union Hospital.
