Margaret was a devoted wife to husband Ernie and worked side by side with him in the drug store for over 40 years to build a successful business. She loved the community of Indian Head, their home on Grand Avenue and raising her 5 children there.
Although she was heartbroken after our Dad’s passing in October 2020 she bravely carried on and was a real trooper for her children. She filled her time with family visits, Christmas crafting, her famous scrapbooks, and trips to the Dollar Store.
She was a mother who loved us unconditionally and was always our biggest cheerleader. She always told us how much she loved us and how proud she was of all of us. Above all Mom was a devoted wife, loving Mother, Mother-in-law, Grandma and Great Grandma. Family meant everything to her. Mom was kind, quiet, compassionate and wise.
She will be greatly missed every day but has left her loved ones with many of the same qualities we so admired and respected in her. We will never forget that infectious giggle, her sense of humor and never wavering love for our Dad and her family.
We Love You Mom and are all very proud of you. You were our “Angel on Earth” and we know you will continue watching over us.
The celebration of life took place in Indian Head in St. Andrew’s United Church on Saturday, July 30th at 2 p.m. with Cliff Geiger officiating. The interment followed in the Indian Head Cemetery.
