Mary Philip

It is with sadness that the family of Mary Beatrice Philip (McKenzie), announce her passing on August 15, 2015 at the age of 94 in Regina, Saskatchewan.

She is lovingly remembered by her children: Ken Philip & Bev Carbert, Marie Philip (John), Gordon & Mary Philip, Bern Philip & Kathleen Blake, Ralph & Brenda Philip. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, sister Jean Jardine, brother Sandy McKenzie and numerous nieces & nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband and our father, Duncan Philip, on October 8, 2002, after 56 years of marriage.

She was also predeceased by her parents, William & Louena Mckenzie, her brothers Hugh McKenzie and Bill Mckenzie, her son John Philip and grandson Michael Philip.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 28, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Indian Head Cemetery with Rev. Darrell Reine officiating.

Lunch to follow at St. Andrew’s United Church C.E. Centre, 801 Buxton St., Indian Head.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 51 Sommerfeld Drive, Regina, SK S4V 0C6 will be greatly appreciated.

Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Regina General Hospital and the Pasqua Hospital for the care and support given to Mom in her final days.
