Ron was predeceased by his father Henry, his mother & father-in-law Elsie & Lloyd Petersen, his sister Carol Rolston. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Sandra, his daughters Michelle Muehr (Mark), Rhona Moodie (John), Mishonna Lohmeyer (Joel), 3 grandchildren, Taylor Muehr (Maddison), Connor and Madilyn Mannix, and by 1 greatgrandchild, Maverick Muehr. He was also survived by his mother Betty Mrychka, his brother David (Shirley), and extended family, including sisters & brothers-in-law, and well-loved nieces and nephews.
Ron, raised on a Saskatchewan farm, found his spiritual foundation as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Ron and Sandra raised their daughters on the family farm near Fillmore, Saskatchewan. Their farm was a hub of adventure, from tree houses to ski-dooing. Ron's values guided his marriage and family, instilling in them a love for Jehovah God.
In their life together, Ron and Sandra embraced travel, from Texas winters to international adventures. They built a cherished lakeside home at Katepwa Lake. Ron's love for family and zest for life flourished here. After 30-years of teaching Drivers Education in the school system, Ron “Mr. M.” retired, having influenced generations with his patience and humor. His legacy lives on through the many memories he created and the bonds he nurtured with family & friends.
Ron spent much of his life teaching people the truth about God’s Kingdom and the hope of a resurrection here on a paradise earth. That hope brought him comfort throughout his life and it brings his family comfort now to look forward to seeing him again.
“And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning not outcry or pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” Revelation 21:4
