Ted Galecki

On Thursday, September 19, 2013, Ted Galecki, Odessa, SK. died at the age of 82 years. The Celebration of Life will be held in the Odessa Community Hall, Odessa, SK. on Monday, September 23, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. Cremation with interment at a later date. Ted was predeceased by his wife Louise; his parents Witold and Zofia Galecki; two brothers in infancy and Edmund Galecki; four sisters: Phylis, Angelia, Irene and Selma. He is survived by his daughter Karen (Rod) Hoffart and their family: Lisa Hoffart (Johnny Clyne) and her daughter Brooke; Kimberley (Daniel) Eberle and their son Alex; Joe (Bobbi-Jo) Hoffart and their son Duncan; son Wayne (Marilyn) Galecki and their family Brock Galecki (Lindsay), Dylan Galecki (Lisa) and Jay Galecki (Sydney); two sisters Maureen Matkin and Elsie Theobald; one brother Henry (Hank) Galecki and numerous nieces and nephews. Ted enjoyed what he called "the simple life" in the comfort of his Odessa home. His final days were spent doing the things he loved the most, "just touring" the Odessa area, checking on the bin builders, harvesting with his grandson and on-looking the annual wood chopping by family members. He will be forever missed and always remembered doing the many other family traditions, including the annual northern hunting trips where he shared many of his campfire tales.
