Alfred was born in New York to Alfred & Regina Black on November 5, 1936. He went to school in St. Petersburg. He married Paula Black on August 23, 1959. He graduated from Indiana University. He worked as a Dean of Education for ITT. He was a veteran of Vietnam War and served in the United States Air Force for 12.5 years. He was involved in boy scouts and YMCA.
Alfred is preceded in death by his father Alfred W. Black, Mother Regina Black, Sister Gloria Black.
Alfred is survived by his wife Paula Black, son Alfred Black Jr, granddaughter Brandi McCarthy, granddaughter Cassondra Revilla, and granddaughter Melissa Holmes.
Visitation and funeral will be 930am-11am on Tuesday August 10, 2021 at Crownhill Cemetery at the Gothic Chapel. Burial and arrangements will follow at Crownhill Cemetery.
