Allen E. Elder

of Noblesville, passed away Monday, March 20, 2017. He was born November 16, 1928 to the late Samuel and Louise Elder. Allen was a graduate of Newburgh High School in Indiana. Allen retired from Ameritech after 40 years of service. He was active in several civic organizations and enjoyed music, traveling and sports.

Survivors include Betty Elder, his wife of 66 years, children Sara Elder Hodson (wife of Mark) and Nancy Elder; grandchildren Ashley Prange (wife of Brian Snyder), Amber Prange (wife of Jon Eaton) and Conor Sisk; three step grandchildren Sarah Scobell (wife of Matt), Jennifer Little (wife of Craig), and David Hodson (husband of Kyleigh) and brother Philip Elder (husband of Sylvia). He was preceded in death by two brothers Sam and Bob Elder and two sisters Ann and Mary Lou. Allen also has seven step great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at Bethel Lutheran Church, Cumberland Road, Noblesville, Indiana on May 6th at 11:30 am. In memory of Allen memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice. Services entrusted to Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortury. Condolences may also be offered at www.feeneyhornakkeystone.com
