

ALMA loved Jehovah and symbolized her dedication to Jehovah by baptism in the early 1960s. Through trials and tribulations, she continued to serve Jehovah faithfully.
ALMA attended school in Indianapolis, Indiana, at St. Rita’s Catholic School and Crispus Attucks High School. She was employed at NAPA Balkcamp as a Computerized Catalog Designer for over 43 years.
ALMA loved spending quality time with her family, friends, traveling, singing, dancing, and shopping. She had an incredible love for dogs, and you could always find her in her yard, planting flowers and gardening. Each night, you would always hear her say “Yippy” when she got her nightly bowl of ice cream.
ALMA departed this life on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at the age of 84. She is preceded in death by her parents, Archie Thomas and Mildred Smith; husband, Charles R. Weathers, Sr.; daughter, Tonya J. Weathers; sister, Rochelle Smith; brother, Michael Thomas, Vernon Lee Thomas; granddaughter, Kendra L. Weathers; and grandsons, Devin J. Weathers and Dustin J. McClennon.
ALMA leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Treva A. Weathers-Bright (Bright), Adrienne L. Brown (Karen), Sherry R. Lewis, Robin M. Weathers, Bonnita Weathers, and Deborah Brame; son, Charles R. Weathers, Jr. (Sheila); brothers, Gregory R. McKay (Delores), Billy Thomas, and Ralph Smith; sisters, Lucille Townsend, and Annetta Bell (Sam). Fourteen grandchildren, Michael A. Ford, Brandy M. Brown (Genaro), Tiana M. Etienne (Evens), Robert E. Ross Jr. (LaShonda), Kevin D. Beverly Jr. (Ashley), Niah R. Weathers, Tonya D. Brady (Eric), Chéza A. Matthews, Joshua B. Weathers (Nkechi), CorDarryl T. Weathers(Jasmine), Candace C. Young, Derail J. McClennon, Dezmond C. Weathers, and Alonzo L. Weathers; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Crown Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery, Memorial Chapel, 700 W. 38th St., Indianapolis, Indiana 46208, on July 17, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. And again, on July 18, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. and a Celebration of Life will follow at 12:00 pm. with Bro. Melvin Johnson, Chairman, Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
