Amelia Barbara Nell Favors-Duke, 81, of Indianapolis passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on May 25, 2021. Barbara was born May 24, 1940 in Beaver Dam, Kentucky. She is preceded in death by her husband: Robert Duke, parents, George and Martha Favors, sister, Elizabeth Pruitt, brother, Thomas Favors, and grandson, Morgan Johnson. Barbara is survived by three children: Robbie (Laurie) Duke and Tammy (Rick) Wilson, Dawniel Duke (Junior Gaskins), 3 brothers, Arvin Favors, Roger Favors, and Swanie Murray, 3 sisters, Peggy Hardin, Dezie Favors, and Pamela Heidenreich, 8 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. Services for Barbara will be held on Saturday, May 29, at Drexel Gardens Apostolic Tabernacle, 5034 W Mecca St, Indianapolis, IN 46241, at 11:00 am with visitation from 10:00 am until time of service. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 28, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Family Funeral Care. Burial will be at Duncan Cemetery in Nashville, Indiana on Saturday, May 29, at 2:30 pm.
