

Angie went to Indiana University and was a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority, Beta Alpha Chapter, Bloomington, IN. She worked at Eagle Lion Pictures where she met her husband, Neil. Neil and Angie established the Wylde Insurance Agency based in Zionsville, IN. Angie was also a Legislative Session employee for 21 years working for the Indiana State Senate where she tracked bills as they went through the process of becoming legislation.
She loved volunteer work and was very active in raising funds to establish Channel 20 Public Broadcasting Station in Indianapolis. She was Chairman for the Annual Fundraising Auctions held at the station from 1976-1982.
Angie also volunteered for United Way. She was District and Area Chairman and in 1974, was chosen as Women’s Division Campaign Chairman for Central Indiana. She also served as Vice President of Greater Zionsville Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of 1978 Annual House Tour and received an award for her service.
She was a Charter Member of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Speedway before becoming a member of Trinity Episcopal Church where she was active in the Altar Guild, St. Monica and St. Ursula’s Guild.
Angie thoroughly enjoyed traveling as well as documenting those trips in various forms such as notebooks and scrapbooks. She was an avid bowler, enjoyed golfing, playing duplicate bridge and watching her favorite football team, the Indianapolis Colts.
Angie was predeceased by her husband Neil Wylde, mother and father, sister Sophia, and brother James ‘Jimmy’ Geloff, Jr.
Survivors include brother Deenie James Geloff, son David (Karen) Wylde of Wesley Chapel, NC, and Debra (Thomas) Mattingly of Speedway, IN and two grandchildren Jill (Casey) Dregits of Speedway, IN and Eric (Melissa) Mattingly of Brownsburg, IN and five great-grandchildren.
Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 15th at Trinity Episcopal Church, 3243 N. Meridian St., Indianapolis, IN 46208. Calling will be from 11am to 12pm. Service will start promptly at 12pm, inurnment to follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to GiGi’s Playhouse, 5909 E. 86th St., Indianapolis, IN 46250, and Luminary Hospice of Carmel, 11708 N. College Ave., Suite 175, Carmel, IN 46032. The family of Angeline Wylde wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Luminary Hospice of Carmel.
