Ann R Fernandez

73, of Indianapolis, passed peacefully into eternal life on November 7, 2011. She was born in Connersville, IN on May 10, 1938 to John H. and Mildred (Smith) Conyers. She graduated from St. Francis H.S. in Lafayette, IN and worked as an interviewer with Walker Research until her retirement in 1995.

Ann was married to Julio (Lee) Fernandez for 50 years and together they raised 7 children. Along with Lee, she is survived by her children: Julie A. (John) Boser, Jennifer R. (Thomas) Fernandez, Joseph A., James A. (Gerri) and David L. Fernandez. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law Janet Fernandez and son-in-law Paul Crimmins. She was the proud grandmother of 20. She is also survived by her sisters Kathy Merrick, Janet Shaw and Mary Lewis as well as brothers Tom Conyers, Bill Godbey and Steve Powers. She was preceded in death by her parents and children Mary Crimmins and John Fernandez.

Visitation will be at Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary on Thursday, November 10, from 4 to 8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Pius X Catholic Church on Friday, November 11, at 10:00 AM.
