She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Louisiana. She attended Eastern Star Missionary Baptist Church here in Indianapolis, IN.
She received her education through the Louisiana School System. Anna retired from Fort Benjamin Harrison Army Base in Indianapolis, after many years of service.
Anna was a mother of four children Sharon (Stanley) Dewayne, Patricia (Roy) and Theodore, deceased.
Affection known to her nieces and nephews as "Auntee" and many family friends.
Anna is survived by two siblings Annie Mae Jackson of Baton Rouge, LA and Leadell Wells of Indianapolis; grandchildren Carlos, Traci, Keith (deceased), Steven, Devan and Darren; great grandchildren Aundreal, Sienna, Shaquille, Sheakeed, Jordan, Chance and Dawson Isabella (due in March 2020); God daughter Thelma Turner and a host of nieces and nephews.
