

94, passed into God’s loving arms on March 3, 2016 at the age of 94. She was born May 28, 1921 in Huntington Co., IN, the daughter of the late Samuel E. and Ida Mae “Geseman” Ellison. She graduated from Ball State in 1943 and married her husband, Clarence W. Buesking in April of 1943. Annice and her husband, Clarence, lived for 40 years in Evansville, IN, where she served as a teacher at Redeemer Lutheran School and Evansville Lutheran School. As a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran church, she was actively involved in the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League and as a Sunday School teacher. In 2006 she moved with her husband to Carmel, IN to be closer to family and became a disciple at Carmel Lutheran Church. She enjoyed quilting, Bible study, gardening and especially her family. Annice is survived by her children: Ruth Radich, Martha (Ken) Shirkey, Janet (Bruce) Williams and Paul (Pam) Buesking, sisters: Ruth Yentes and Carolyn Ringer, 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband: Clarence W. Buesking, sister: Mary Margaret Jackson and her brother: Richard Ellison. Visitation will be Sunday, March 20th, from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at Carmel Lutheran Church, 4850 E. Main St and Monday, March 21st, from 10:00 – 11:00 am also at the Church. Funeral services will be Monday, March 21st, at 11:00 am at Carmel Lutheran Church. Burial will take place at the Lutheran Cemetery in Evansville, IN on Tuesday, March 22nd, at 2:00 pm central time. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Annice Buesking Memorial Fund/Gateway Center for World Mission at www.secure.qgiv.com/for/gcfwm.
