ANTHONY attended Indianapolis Public School #110 and Arsenal Technical High School. Anthony, also affectionately called “Ringo” and “Zing Zing”, went on to be self employed.
ANTHONY was baptized at an early age and took care of himself; mind body and soul. He worked for and took first place in Bodybuilding and Wrestling in both city and state. He enjoyed swimming, boxing, and riding his bike. Ringo was an avid chess players, and one of the best players in the world. He was a master chess player and he enjoyed teaching others to play. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family which he truly loved and enjoyed captivating them and others by telling funny stories. Zing Zing will be greatly missed for many reasons, one of which is for his funny stories.
ANTHONY LEFLORE went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 29, 2021. The Lord blessed the season of Ringo’s life to flourish for 56 years, 11 months and 19 days and blessed us to be able to share in it. He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel LeFlore; mother, Mary LeFlore; nephew, DeMarco LeFlore; grandmother, Agnes Bledsoe; grandfather, Thomas Bledsoe; uncle, Elmer Walker; auntie, Edna Cole; cousin, Rodney Brown; and nephew, Jewel Spearman IV.
He leaves to cherish his memory his sons, Anthony LeFlore, Antonio LeFlore, Andre LeFlore and Antwan LeFlore; three brothers, Danny LeFlore, Derek LeFlore (Thelma), and Jewel Spearman III (Gergina); four sisters, Elise LeFlore, Illana LeFlore, Antonette Dumes (Troy), and Julienne Abdullah; one grandson, Antonio LeFlore; his father figure, Jewel Spearman Jr.; several cousins, twelve nieces, five nephews, eighteen great-nephews, fifteen great nieces, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service, June 10, 2021, Thursday 12pm, Williams & Bluitt Funeral Home, 5252 E. 38th St. Indianapolis, Indiana, 46218. Family will receive friends 11am until time of service.
