Born on June 3rd, 1945, Barbara graduated from Crispus Attucks High School in 1963. She went on to build a long and dedicated career with the United States Postal Service, where she worked for 36 years before retiring. Known for her effervescent and bubbly personality, Barbara was a kind and loving presence in the lives of those who knew her.
She is survived by her three sons, Stacy, Carl and Andre; five sisters, Alfreda, Regina, Janice, Florence and Mamie; two brothers, Gregory and Jeffery; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother Charles Henry.
A service to honor Barbara’s life will be held at Crown Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, located at 700 West 38th Street in Indianapolis, Indiana, on February 22nd, 2025, with a visitation from 10:00AM to 12:00PM. Immediately following will be a Celebration of Life at 12:00PM.
Barbara’s warmth and kindness will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
