Barbara Watson

Barbara "Barb" Watson of Bryant, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on February 22, 2016. Barb is survived by her loving companion, Tony Johnson, sons Mike and Jim (Trish) Watson, and grandchildren, Ali and Benjamin Watson. Also left to cherish her memory are many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Otto and Mary (Leonard) Holtz. Barb was born on June 1, 1941 in Marion County, Indiana. She graduated from Ben Davis High School in 1959. She worked thirty years in food service in the Brownsburg and Avon School Systems. Barb was a loving mother and active person that enjoyed keeping busy, so it was fitting she became a grandmother to twins shortly after her retirement in 2007. She enjoyed socializing, traveling and relaxing near the water. Barb was a good natured, loving woman; loyal, generous, and devoted. She was quick with a smile. Her thoughtful, caring ways and easy going nature touched people everywhere she lived, worked, or did business.

A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, March 20, 2016, from 2pm until the time of service at 4pm in Family Funeral Care. (5791 Rockville Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46224).
