

age 55, of Indianapolis was born March 23, 1961 and passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, December 30, 2016.
Barry was a loving father to his two beautiful daughters, Haley and Darcy Hunter, who were his pride and joy. He enjoyed sharing in their accomplishments, and took pride in the responsible young women they have become.
He was a proud, life-long Franklin Township resident and a true Franklin Central "Flashes" fan. You would often see him driving his "Flashes" adorned golf cart during many of the sporting events.
Affectionately known as "Boog," Barry was a true friend, brother, son, and father to all that knew him. He would gladly give the shirt off his back to a friend in need. Barry knew no strangers, and brought laughter to all who surrounded him. His giant smile, hearty laugh, and wicked sense of humor will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and neighbors.
Barry is survived by his two daughters, Haley and Darcy Hunter, brothers Rick (Michele), Dave (Debbie) Hunter and his sister Greta Barber (Scott), niece Nicole Beattie (Brian), and nephews Nathan, Blake and Zachary Barber and Sam Hunter (Brittany).
Barry is preceded in death by his mother and father, Tom and Melba Hunter.
Visitation will be Sunday, January 8 from 2 – 6 pm at Little and Son’s Funeral Home Stop 11 Chapel in Indianapolis. A celebration of Barry’s life will be Monday, January 9 at 1 pm at the funeral home with visitation an hour before. Burial will be at Little Orchard Cemetery in Wanamaker, Indiana.
