Benjamin “Ben” Manh Forrest White, age 5, passed away suddenly on November 29, 2024, after battling the effects of a traumatic brain injury for 2.5 years. Ben was born in Tay Ninh, Vietnam, on December 8, 2018, and was adopted to his parents Thomas and Amanda (Snodgrass) White on August 15, 2022. Ben loved spending time with his family and friends, swimming in the family pool, and watching Bluey & Mickey Mouse. He was a beloved student of Washington Township’s Allisonville Elementary and Early Learning Center, and cherished the time he spent learning and growing with his friends, teachers and staff. Ben’s smile, laughter, and indomitable spirit touched everyone he met, and he will always be remembered for his strength and joy in life. Ben is survived by his loving parents; his siblings Alyx, Chad, Cameron, Charlotte, William, Luka, Emma and Kailey; his grandmothers Penni (Snodgrass) and Geneva; and numerous beloved family members and friends. He is predeceased by his grandfathers, Jim (Snodgrass) and Eugene. The family will hold a Celebration of Life after the holidays, and will make that announcement at a later date. In remembrance of him, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to NeuroHope or the Riley Children’s Foundation, two organizations that had a profound influence on Ben’s life.
