August 13, 1924 to February 25, 2010. She was born to William and Mildred Zike in Bellefontaine, OH and married to Bill W. Boyer, Sr. for 54 years. She retired from RCA in 1984.
Mrs. Boyer was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers Charles and Robert Zike, and sister Myrtle Bains.
Survivors include her four children; Joyce A. McMullen, Bill W. Boyer Jr. (Terry), Barbara J. Kraning (Thomas) and Brenda S. Thomas (John), two sisters Helen Lowman (Jack) and Rose Richey, 11 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, March 1, 2010 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Crown Hill Funeral Home, 700 West 38th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46208. Services will be on Tuesday, March 2, 2010,
11 :00 AM at the Gothic Chapel, Crown Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
